What is Yellow / red / black card in Fencing?
Fencing's sanction ladder: yellow is a warning; red gives a penalty touch to the opponent; black expels the fencer from the competition for grave offences such as refusing to salute, brutality or cheating.
Example: A second covering-target offence turned his yellow into a red card and 14-13 became 15-13.
