What is Indicator in Fencing?
The touch differential — touches scored minus touches received — used to rank fencers with equal victories after the pools. Fencing's net run rate: winning 5-1 and 5-4 are not the same.
Example: Both went 4-2, but her +9 indicator seeded her higher.
