What is Twist in Diving?

Rotation around the body's long axis, layered on top of somersaults in the twisting group. Twists are started by asymmetric arm and shoulder movements in the air, and every added half-twist raises the DD.

Example: His full-twisting two-and-a-half needed a razor-sharp come-out to stay vertical.
