What is Fulcrum in Diving?

The adjustable roller under a springboard that sets how much of the board can flex. Divers set a personal fulcrum position before each dive — looser for more height, stiffer for quicker, more predictable recoil.

Example: He rolled the fulcrum forward two clicks before his twisting dive.
