What is Synchronised diving (synchro) in Diving?

Events where two divers perform the same or mirrored dives simultaneously from adjacent boards or the same platform, judged on individual execution and on synchronisation of takeoff, height, rotation timing and entry. Olympic synchro medals exist on 3m and 10m.

Example: Their entries hit the water as a single sound — the sync scores were 9s.
