What is Entry in Diving?
The moment the diver meets the water, ideally perfectly vertical with the body stretched and aligned. The entry is the last thing judges see and weighs heavily in the score — a great flight with a splashy, angled entry rarely scores well.
Example: Everything hinged on the entry, and she nailed it vertical.
