What is Ruck in Rugby?

The contest that forms when the ball is on the ground after a tackle and players from both teams close over it on their feet. Hands may not be used once the ruck has formed; the ball is won by driving or sealing. Most union possession is recycled through rucks.

Example: Quick ruck ball let the fly-half attack a disorganised defence.
