What is Conversion in Rugby?
A kick at goal worth 2 points, attempted after a try. It is taken from any distance back in line with where the try was grounded, so tries under the posts give near-certain conversions while corner tries leave a tough angle.
Example: The try was scored wide out, and the conversion drifted just past the far upright.
