What is Flanker in Rugby?

The two back-row forwards (Nos. 6 and 7, blindside and openside) who bind loosely to the scrum and specialise in tackling and breakdown work. Opensides are usually a team's chief jackal threat.

Example: The openside flanker made 20 tackles and won three turnovers.
