What is Gegenpressing (counter-press) in Football?

Immediately swarming the ball the moment your team loses it, instead of retreating into shape — popularised by Jürgen Klopp. The logic: the instant after a turnover, opponents are disorganised, so winning the ball back within seconds creates better chances than any playmaker's pass.

Example: Klopp famously called gegenpressing the best playmaker in the world.
