What is Wicket in Cricket?

A word doing triple duty: the set of three stumps and two bails, the dismissal of a batter ('a wicket falls'), and sometimes the pitch itself ('a flat wicket'). On a scorecard, 220/6 means six wickets have fallen.

Example: Two quick wickets flipped the momentum of the chase.
