What is No-ball in Cricket?

An illegal delivery — most often the bowler's front foot landing fully beyond the popping crease, but also beamers above waist height and other breaches. It costs one run, is re-bowled, and in white-ball formats triggers a free hit on the next delivery.

Example: The hat-trick was denied when the big screen showed a front-foot no-ball.
