What is Kayak (K boat) in Canoeing?

A boat in which the paddler sits with legs extended and uses a double-bladed paddle, stroking alternately on both sides. Sprint kayaks have a foot-controlled rudder; slalom kayaks do not. Event codes K1, K2 and K4 give the crew size.

Example: She races K1 500m in sprint and K1 in slalom is a completely different boat.
