What is Canoe (C boat) in Canoeing?

A boat in which the paddler kneels and uses a single-bladed paddle, stroking mainly on one side and steering with the stroke itself. Raced as C1 (solo) and C2 (pairs). Canoe events demand one-sided power and constant steering corrections.

Example: In C1 the paddler kneels on one knee and drives the blade on a single side.
