What is Triple-double in Basketball?

Reaching double figures (10 or more) in three statistical categories in one game — almost always points, rebounds and assists. It signals a complete all-around performance and is rare enough to headline a box score.

Example: Russell Westbrook averaged a triple-double across an entire NBA season, something previously thought impossible in the modern era.
