What is Iso (isolation) in Basketball?

An offensive set where one player takes his defender one-on-one while the other four teammates clear out of the way. Teams run iso for their best shot-creator, especially late in close games when defences refuse to be beaten by anyone else.

Example: Down two with ten seconds left, everyone in the arena knew it would be an iso for the star.
