What is Torpedo punt in Australian Rules Football?

A kick struck across the ball's long axis so it spirals like a rugby or gridiron punt, gaining extra distance at the cost of accuracy. Mostly seen clearing defence or in after-the-siren long-range attempts.

Example: He unloaded a torpedo from the kick-in that sailed 70 metres.
