What is Ball-up in Australian Rules Football?

The umpire's neutral restart when the ball is locked in a pack with neither team able to clear it: the ball is bounced or thrown up on the spot and the rucks contest it, as at a centre bounce.

Example: The tackle trapped the ball and the umpire called a ball-up.
