What is Boundary throw-in in Australian Rules Football?
The restart when the ball goes out of bounds in general play: a boundary umpire, back turned to the field, hurls the ball over his head into a ruck contest. Kicked out on the full instead, it is a free kick to the opposition.
Example: The ruckmen wrestled under the boundary throw-in deep in the forward pocket.
