What is Snap in Australian Rules Football?

A quick kick at goal curved around the body, usually under pressure from a pocket or congestion, imparting sideways spin so the ball bends through. The specialty of opportunist small forwards.

Example: The small forward gathered the crumb and snapped truly over his shoulder.
