What is Ruckman in Australian Rules Football?

The tall specialist who contests centre bounces, ball-ups and boundary throw-ins, trying to tap the ball to teammates ('hitouts'). Modern rucks are also expected to mark, tackle and follow up at ground level.

Example: The ruckman's tap work gave his midfielders first use all day.
