What is Onside kick in American Football?
A deliberately short kickoff that the kicking team tries to recover to keep possession, legal only once the ball travels 10 yards or is touched by the receivers. A low-percentage desperation play for teams trailing late.
Example: Trailing by three with two minutes left, they attempted the onside kick.
