What is Struggle in Kabaddi?

The phase of a raid after first contact between the raider and any defender. During a struggle the lobbies become part of the court, and the raider can fight, roll or crawl to get any part of their body across the mid line. Points are frozen until the struggle resolves in an escape or a tackle.

Example: The struggle dragged three defenders into the lobby before he finally lunged over the mid line.
