What is Baulk line in Kabaddi?

The line in each half 3.75m from the mid line that a raider must cross completely for the raid to be valid. A raider who returns without crossing it and without touching a defender is out. Crossing it while returning empty-handed makes the raid an empty raid rather than a violation.

Example: The raider dashed back too early, never crossed the baulk line, and was declared out.
