What is Block in Kabaddi?
A tackle in which the defender plants their body in the raider's path to the mid line, absorbing the collision to stop the escape. Blocks are high-risk: a raider with momentum can bounce off or spin around a mistimed block and take the touch.
Example: The burly cover's chest block stopped the raider dead a metre from safety.
