What is Penhold grip in Table Tennis?

Holding the racket as one holds a pen, traditional in China and East Asia. It gives a wristy, dominant forehand; modern penholders use the 'reverse penhold backhand', striking with the back face of the racket.

Example: The penholder's reverse backhand loop closed the gap to the shakehand game.
