What is Dojo in Karate?
The training hall of the martial arts, literally the 'place of the way'. Etiquette — bowing on entry, ranked seating, formal address to the sensei (teacher) — remains part of karate culture even at the sport's elite level.
Example: She still trains at the same dojo where she started aged six.
