What is Offside in Ice Hockey?

An attacking skater may not cross the offensive blue line ahead of the puck. Violations bring the faceoff back out of the zone; a delayed offside lets attackers retreat and re-enter legally once the zone is cleared of them.

Example: The goal was overturned on review for an offside zone entry.
