What is Shooting circle (D) in Field Hockey?

The D-shaped area in front of each goal, bounded by an arc 14.63 m from the goalposts. A goal only counts if an attacker touches the ball inside this circle, and defensive fouls inside it concede a penalty corner or stroke.

Example: Harmanpreet's shot from outside the D was disallowed because no attacker touched it inside the circle.
