What is Penalty stroke in Field Hockey?

A one-on-one push or flick against the goalkeeper from the spot 6.4 m in front of goal, awarded when a foul prevents a probable goal or for serious defensive offences on a penalty corner. Conversion rates are very high.

Example: The stroke was awarded after the ball struck a defender's body on the goal-line.
