What is Technical knockout (TKO) in Boxing?

A stoppage win awarded when the referee, ringside doctor or a boxer's own corner halts the fight because one boxer cannot safely continue, even though they were not counted out. In Olympic-style boxing the equivalent is RSC — referee stops contest.
