What is Spirit of the Game (SOTG) in Ultimate Frisbee?
The foundational written rule of Ultimate: every player is responsible for fair play — honest calls, no deliberate fouls, respect for opponents, calm resolution of disputes. It's what makes referee-free play possible at every level up to world finals.
Example: Their captain withdrew the foul call after discussion — textbook Spirit of the Game.
