What is Brick in Triathlon?

A training session combining two legs back-to-back, classically bike-then-run, to teach the legs to run off the bike. The heavy, wooden feeling of the first run kilometres is what bricks exist to tame.

Example: Saturday's session was a 60/20 brick: an hour of riding straight into a 20-minute run.
