What is Turning in Squash?

When a player lets the ball pass around them (usually in a back corner) and rotates to play it on the other side. Because the opponent may be in the firing line, the striker should hold and appeal rather than hit — the referee then rules let or stroke.

Example: He turned in the back corner, held his swing, and was awarded the let.
