What is Boast in Squash?
A shot played into a side wall first, angling to the front wall. Defensive boasts escape the back corners; attacking (two-wall or trickle) boasts drag the opponent to the front. A boast concedes the T, so timing is everything.
Example: Trapped in the back, he threw up a boast and scrambled for position.
