What is Slap hitting in Softball?
A left-handed technique where the batter starts running toward first while making a short chopping swing, aiming to beat the throw on a ground ball. Slappers weaponize the short 60-foot base paths.
Example: The leadoff slapper beat out three infield hits in the final.
