What is Produnova in Gymnastics?
The handspring double front vault — among the highest-valued and most dangerous vaults in the Code, with a short flight and blind landing. Dipa Karmakar's Produnova at Rio 2016, where she finished fourth, made it the most famous skill in Indian gymnastics.
Example: Only a handful of women have competed the Produnova; Dipa Karmakar landed it on the Olympic stage.
