What is D-score in Gymnastics?

The difficulty score: the sum of a routine's counting element values, connection bonuses and compositional credit, as verified by the D-panel against the Code of Points. It is open-ended — there is no maximum — and difficulty is only credited for skills actually performed.

Example: Her upgraded dismount pushed the D-score from 5.8 to 6.2 before she even mounted the beam.
