What is Wood shot in Badminton?
A shuttle struck by the frame rather than the strings. Once a fault, it has been legal for decades provided the shuttle is hit only once — the resulting mishits produce some of the sport's flukiest winners.
Example: The frame-clip wood shot wobbled over the net for an unplayable winner.
