What is Fault in Badminton?
Any rule breach that ends the rally against the offending side: shuttle out or into the net, touching the net during play, hitting the shuttle twice, the shuttle touching a player's body, or an illegal serve.
Example: The umpire called a fault when her racquet clipped the net tape on the follow-through.
