What is Around-the-head shot in Badminton?
An overhead stroke played on the backhand side but hit with the forehand by reaching across above the head — the standard elite answer to shuttles at the left shoulder (for a right-hander), preserving attacking options.
Example: She took the shuttle around the head to keep smashing rather than play a backhand.
