What is Foul in Snooker?

Any breach of the rules during a stroke — wrong ball first, missing everything, potting the white, a push shot, touching a ball. It ends the visit and gives the opponent at least 4 penalty points, or the value of the ball involved if higher.

Example: The foul on the black gifted her seven points.
