What is Kru / Ajarn in Muay Thai?
Teacher (kru) and master-teacher (ajarn) — the trainers a fighter honours in the wai kru. The kru's role is quasi-parental in Thai camp culture, and the mongkhon a fighter wears belongs to the kru's gym.
Example: After the win she bowed first to her kru at ringside.
