What is Feeling-out round in Muay Thai?

The traditionally quiet first round (often first two) of a Thai bout, where fighters probe range and rhythm. A product of whole-fight judging: early fireworks buy little, so the real fight ignites from round three.

Example: As usual, round one was a feeling-out round fought at walking pace.
