What is Catching a kick in Muay Thai?

Trapping the opponent's roundhouse under the arm, giving the catcher a free attack — a punch, a kick to the standing leg, or a dump. Getting a kick caught is a scoring and psychological loss for the kicker.

Example: He caught the body kick and swept the standing leg in the same motion.
