What is Kho in Kho Kho?

The relay call that gives the sport its name. The active chaser touches a seated teammate on the back and says 'kho', instantly transferring the chase to that teammate, who rises to hunt on the side they were facing. The word must accompany the touch for the transfer to be legal.
