What is Osaekomi in Judo?

A hold-down: controlling the opponent mostly on their back on the mat. The referee announces 'osaekomi' and the clock runs — 20 seconds scores ippon, 10 to 19 seconds waza-ari — unless the trapped judoka escapes or traps the attacker's leg to break the hold.
