What is Knockdown in Equestrian?

Dislodging a fence's top pole so it falls, costing 4 penalties in jumping. A rub that leaves the pole bouncing in its cups costs nothing — the pole must fall.

Example: One knockdown at the final oxer dropped her from first to fifth.
