What is Bust in Darts?

A failed visit in the endgame: scoring more than remains, leaving exactly one, or reaching zero without finishing on a double. The whole visit is void and the score resets to its pre-visit value.

Example: He had 32 left but hit treble 16 — bust, back to 32.
